Earlier this fall I fell in LOVE with the Trailheads Trailblazer Ponytail Hat. I am a long-time fan of Trailheads products and this ponytail hat was so warm, so versatile and so functional for my time outdoors. I just love it!
As I developed my love for that hat, I was since sent the Winter Trucker version. This one is so stylish with the quilted fabric. And it also matches my lined, quilted winter jacket. It matches it perfectly when we've been outside walking the dogs or looking at holiday lights displays.
I also really enjoy wearing this version with my multiple layers of running gear. The weather this fall and winter has been all over the board in Wisconsin. And as you can see ... I can bundle up with my hoodie and hat. Or if I go down to a tank and tights, the hat still keeps my head warm, after I shed a couple of layers.
The Trailheads Winter Trucker Hat for Women is another great ponytail hat. You can use the ponytail hold for your long or short ponytail or messy bun. Or you can keep the closing closed up and it functions and looks just like a regular hat. It's fleece and cozy and has kept my head extremely comfortable even on some very windy days that we've had recently.
Again, I love the optional ear flap. It stays down and covers my entire ear when I want to use it, and also keeps my earbuds in while I'm running - even on a very windy day. You can wear the flap up or down and it always looks great.
The hat's brim is an additional nice touch for those sunny winter days when you need to shield your eyes from the sun - or again, the wind.
The hat offers a comfortable four-way stretch which I am enjoying so much. It's made of fleece: 94% polyester, 6% spandex. It is also insulated with Polartec Powerfill. There are so many options with this hat. It's like a fun baseball trucker cap, with all the warmth and flexibility. I'll definitely wear this sledding and ice skating this season too.
