There is a lot that goes into choosing a personal trainer or a running coach. Everyone approaches health and fitness differently. Everyone communicates differently. And individuals need to be motivated in a way that is tailored to them. My clients often describe me as a gentle encourager. I will always be present, communicate in a way that works for them, but I will never be in their face or make them feel less accomplished if they need to modify or alter their plans.

I enjoy customizing programs and exercises for each clients so that she feels both challenged and accomplished. I set up schedules and routines for clients that will work for them and their family's personal schedule and routines. I don't believe in forcing workouts or routines. My programs set my clients up for success from the very beginning. I enjoy setting the foundation for them and helping them build on it. If they want to workout first thing in the morning, that is when works best for them. If they don't like doing burpees or enjoy jumping, they will find other ways to do cardio throughout their week. If they don't have the means to invest in equipment, I keep equipment minimal and show them bodyweight exercises that will help them work towards their goals.

What are you looking for in a trainer, coach or accountability partner? These are some ways that my clients recently described my services and their experience working together:

Jamie is helpful, friendly, supportive and a FRIEND that you can count on.

She is genuine, caring, reliable and adaptive with her approach.

Jamie is professional, dedicated, reliable, focused and hard-working throughout each area of her business.

Her personal accomplishments are inspirational.

Jamie has helped me work towards MY goals at MY level and at MY pace on MY timeline. She has always been so willing to help me with my movement in alternative ways and non-traditional measures. She is motivational and provides a lot of personal attention.

My experience in working with Running Diva Mom has been a body and soul transformation.

Jamie is always dedicated, kind, supportive, appreciative and focused.

I find working with Jamie inspiring, motivating, fun, “real” and receive accountability in many areas of my life.

Her classes are inclusive, motivating and fun.

A mother and daughter duo described sessions with Jamie as enthusiastic and creative while the other said that Jamie is affirming and real.

Jamie is a true professional who is supportive and makes you feel comfortable, but challenged in your own personal health journey.

Jamie provides me with regular sanity checks!

Jamie always provides positive and encouragement – without unnecessary guilt.

I always find Jamie’s feedback as positive and kind.

Support from Jamie is always positive, thoughtful, attentive, helpful, flexible and realistic.

Jamie makes you feel comfortable. I completed the couch to 5K program and was hesitant about it. But, I needed that accountability program. Jamie made it okay to start at YOUR starting point, making things not awkward or uncomfortable and the other participants made it fun to participate.

Jamie is all of the adjectives for a great coach: genuine, respectful, goal-oriented, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, patient, observant and a clear communicator.

Jamie has always been dedicated, inspiring and positive. Although “accepting” may be my favorite way to describe her. All of her clients have a different story and she makes that okay.
