I recently received a Hylete performance apparel kit that I would like to share with you. I have a few other items from the Hylete womens' line and have enjoyed them. This time, I selected three items from the current Hylete womens' activewear line.

They had a lot of adorable items to choose from that it was REALLY hard to choose just three. I also loved the flattering cut of their shorts and their tanks, too. I appreciate that all of the items mix and match well together. You can match up colors perfectly. Or items that aren't ordered in the same color will mix-up great for an on-point outfit for working out.
I typically wear a size medium sports bra and bottom and I purchase a size small or medium athletic top, depending on the fit and cut. I ordered a size medium in all three items.
I figured the heather black hoodie would mix and match with just about everything. It was so much softer than I expected - especially the inside. The soft interior layer is perfect for when I'm switching between indoor workouts and outdoor run groups. It's great for keeping me warm and dry. I wish that it had the cute thumbholes, but honestly I didn't miss them with the well-placed pockets. It's pretty light weight and not bulky, while adding much needed comfort and warmth during the Wisconsin winter. The cut was really flattering and I didn't find it overly long or short - it was a medium length around my waist. There is also an extra concealed zip pocket in this hoodie.
The Hylete pants and capris come in a variety of lengths - perfect for all seasons throughout the year and different options depending on your leg length. I ordered the capris because I figured I would get more use out of them throughout the year. I ordered the dusty blue color, because I thought that they would match perfectly with all of my new school gear for my son's new high school. These capris come in so many fun, unique color options.
I LOVED wearing these pants for a sweaty treadmill run and the best part is that they stayed up and there wasn't consant tugging on them. They also worked great for a full day of work at the studio - demonstrating full body exercises and leading classes. I feel like they had just the right amount of fit and compression, without being too snug. I did not size up or down in these capris. The four-way stretch fabric makes them fit comfortably to your body shape. The capris also include two zipper pockets, which I probably won't use, but it's nice to have the option if I am out and about with my family and need somewhere to store my phone or an ocassional gel packet while I run longer distances. If ordered in basic black, these would make the PERFECT everyday, go-to pair of leggings. I really do absolutely love them.
I am always in need of a good sports bra - that's all that I wear. I wear sports bras while working out, running errands and even out on a date night. Comfort is totally my jam now. I love a lightweight bra, with a little extra cushioning, lift and padding. I like thinner straps, but I don't like the straps to dig into my shoulder or to be too minimal that they don't lift me.
The seamless Luna Bra proved to be a perfect option for me. The fit and coverage was just what I personally needed. I don't carry a lot on top, so if you do, you may need something a little more supportive. But, I loved this and will order additional colors. I love layering bras with contrasting tank tops and Hylete has a variety of colors to choose from. I am not one to wear a sports bra alone out in public. But I would feel totally comfortable wearing this to the gym if my session is intense enough. I would feel well-supported and covered. I loved the small fabric band around my torso. Some of the bras that I've worn feel too restricting if the band is to large. And if there is no band, I don't feel supported enough while I move. This worked perfectly. The straps are adustable, but I felt the comfort was just fine as shipped. And yes, it does have those annoying removable pads. They haven't ended up in the load of laundry yet! At $48, the pricetag is a little bit more than I would normally invest in a sports bra. But if you order a basic color and the bra is something that you would wear for everyday use, I personally feel that it would be well worth the investment long term.
